About Literacy CyberSpace

Welcome! This site has been created to help you improve your
reading,  language, and math skills. You will also find information on how to get and keep a job. In addition, a directory is available to assist you in finding community resources. Our Family Literacy section will show you ways that you and your children can learn together.

The Literacy CyberSpace Project served all fifteen (15) Region 1 counties in the Northwest Panhandle of Florida: Bay, Calhoun, Escambia, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Wakulla, Walton, and Washington.

Region 1: High Skills Community
As a result of the Project's unique aspects using innovative technology, the U.S. Department of Education has designated Region 1 a High Skills Community. High Skills Communities create an environment where lifelong learning is enhanced by mobilizing public and private sector partnerships. Only ten other locations in the United States have been awarded this designation.
