Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Office Hours
Monday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Store Hours
Services Provided: Independence for the Blind provides services to persons who are blind or visually impaired, including counseling for clients and families, personal and public advocacy, information and referral, taped reading program, speakers' bureau, independent living skills training, orientation and mobility training, Braille training, assistive technology, and employment training and placement. There is also a store which sells adaptive aides for visually impaired persons (canes, magnifiers, games, etc.) at cost.
Who Can Benefit: Persons who are legally blind and their families are able to participate in and benefit from the services provided.
