Services Provided: The Health Department offers a wide variety of health related services including breast and cervical cancer tests, sexually transmitted disease (STD) tests, HIV/AIDS tests, Tuberculosis (TB) tests, school and sports physicals, Medicaid screening, and Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Food Supplement screening. Other services include:
  • Immunizations - childhood, adult, internal travel (Immunizations required for school entry are free.) 
  • Family Planning - available to all (sliding scale fees)
  • Well Baby Check-Ups (sliding scale fees)
  • Car Seat Program, Bicycle Safety and Helmet Program
  • Adult and Infant CPR Classes
  • Vital Statistics
  • School Health
  • Medication for Epilepsy, Insulin for Diabetes, and Rheumatic Fever
  • Environmental health
  • Communicable Disease Surveillance
  • Healthy Start Program
Who Can Benefit: Eligibility varies for each program. Call for information.
Fees: Certain services are free, some are provided with a very low cost, and some are based on the ability to pay.
