Provided: |
The Health Department offers a wide variety of health related
services including breast and cervical cancer tests, sexually
transmitted disease (STD) tests, HIV/AIDS tests, Tuberculosis
(TB) tests, school and sports physicals, Medicaid screening, and
Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Food Supplement screening. Other
services include:
- Immunizations - childhood, adult,
internal travel (Immunizations required for school entry are
free.)
- Family Planning - available to all
(sliding scale fees)
- Well Baby Check-Ups (sliding scale
fees)
- Car Seat Program, Bicycle Safety and
Helmet Program
- Adult and Infant CPR Classes
- Vital Statistics
- School Health
- Medication for Epilepsy, Insulin for
Diabetes, and Rheumatic Fever
- Environmental health
- Communicable Disease Surveillance
- Healthy Start Program
