The
Weatherization Program is designed to aid low-income families
by reducing home energy costs. Weatherization work is done on
the homes of qualified, low-income families. It includes such
work as insulating attics, weather-stripping, caulking, installing
storm windows and making other minor repairs. These improvements
are engineered to decrease the amount and flow of air into dwellings,
thereby reducing the energy needed to heat and cool them. |
