Start helps adults with children begin to work toward a high school
diploma or toward increasing their literacy skills.
Parents learn that they
are their children's first and most important teachers. Parenting
classes are taught to help parents learn how to become more
involved in children's education.
Children receive early
intervention services and can be referred into school district
early intervention programs. Children get a chance for an "even
start" when they enter public school. |
